Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved, washed and drained
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200 Celsius (400 Fahrenheit).
  2. Gently toss brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, ground pepper, and chili flakes until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange on a baking sheet (I use a half-sheet pan) and roast for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until slightly charred at the edges and golden brown throughout. Stir 2-3 times during roasting so the sprouts cook evenly.
  4. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
